๐Ÿ”— Getting Started with Apple Health

Last updated 7 months ago

Letโ€™s make sure SweatScore can read your steps and workouts from Apple Health so your hard work counts towards your points. Hereโ€™s exactly how to check and manage permissions.

Hereโ€™s how to set it up step by step.

  1. Open the Health app

  2. Launch the Health app on your iPhone.

  3. Go to your Profile

  4. To access your profile, tap your profile in the top right corner.

  5. Tap Apps under Privacy. This shows all apps that have requested access.

  6. Select SweatScore (Youโ€™ll see which types of data SweatScore can read or write.)

  7. Turn ON permissions for requested data

  8. Toggle them to green to allow access.

Important Note

โœ… If you use another tracker app (e.g. Fitbit, Garmin) synced with Apple Health, make sure that app is also allowed to write data into Apple Health.

๐Ÿ’ก Example: If you use Fitbit, check that Fitbit writes data to Apple Health, and SweatScore reads from Apple Health. That way, it all flows seamlessly.

โŒ Troubleshooting Tips

If your activity isnโ€™t showing up in SweatScore:

  • Double-check that permissions are turned on for both SweatScore and your tracker app within Apple Health.

  • Visit Troubleshooting > Fixing Health App Sync Issues for step-by-step solutions.
