🙌 No Tracker? No Problem!
Last updated 7 months ago
Don’t have a smartwatch or fitness tracker? That doesn’t mean you can’t use SweatScore. Here’s how it works for you.
💛 How SweatScore works without a tracker
Steps
If you carry your phone with you throughout the day, your steps are still tracked through your phone’s motion sensors. Just make sure:
Apple users: Your phone’s motion & fitness tracking is turned ON in Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness.
Android users: Google Fit or Samsung Health is installed and step tracking is turned ON.
Sweat (active minutes)
Without a heart rate tracker, SweatScore can’t calculate your active minutes in Zone 2+ accurately, because it needs heart rate data to award Sweat Points for workouts.
But don’t stress:
💡 Tip: You can still earn points from steps and daily check-ins, keeping you on the leaderboard and earning rewards for your consistency.
🔧 Ways to boost your SweatScore without a tracker
✅ Focus on steps goals – longer walks
✅ Check-in daily – it’s quick and earns you points just for showing up
✅ Consider investing in a basic heart rate tracker later if you want to unlock full Sweat Points from workouts, but it’s not essential to start.
A fitness tracker helps you unlock the full SweatScore experience by recording your active minutes in Zone 2 and above. But you can still start today, earn points from your steps and check-ins, and build the habit of showing up.
