🔧Sync your tracker app

To earn points, we need permission to read your steps, and heart rate through Health Connect, the Android hub that connects all your fitness data.

Here’s how to get everything working smoothly. You only need to do this once.

✅ Step 1: Install Health Connect (Android)

If you haven’t already, download Health Connect from the Google Play Store:

✅ Step 2: Set permissions in your phone settings

This is where most people get stuck, but we’ve got you.

Here’s how to properly enable Health Connect:

  1. Go to your phone settings

  2. Tap Apps

  3. Scroll or search for Health Connect > Open

  4. Tap Permissions and data access

  5. Tap App permissions

  6. Enable your tracker app (e.g. Samsung Health, Fitbit, Google Fit)

  7. Make sure SweatScore is also enabled ✅

If either app is toggled off here, your points won’t sync. No data = no Sweat Points.

It can take a few minutes to sync. If it still doesn’t update:

  • Make sure your tracker app (Samsung Health, etc.) is collecting data

  • Make sure Health Connect is up to date

  • Restart your phone
